I think I may have inadvertently stumbled across a wrinkle in the universe.

Last week we vacationed in Mexico.

Of course, Seamus travelled with me (my trusty BlackBerry), and I was half hoping I wouldn’t be able to get a signal from the Mayan Riviera.

Good news is – I did.

Bad news is – I assume everyone else had a signal too, but I was the only loser actually checking mine.

I did check it in private (not by the pool, on the beach, or in the bar,or even in those pesky ruins) but there was a virtual dearth of BlackBerrying going on.

How can this be?

Signal but no interest?

I’m concerned. These people take “vacationing” way too seriously.
